2009 Stakeholders
Stakeholder Forums:
Stakeholders are business leaders in the community who see the vision of an organization that can provide information for both employers and employees to assist with information on a wide variety of topics including transit options, business tax credits, and road projects. Stakeholders have chosen to support the mission through financial contributions.
Stakeholder forums are regular meetings of our stakeholders. Although attendance at these forums is not mandatory, participation and voice at these forums is appreciated. Transit issues that impact business are discussed. Stakeholders have the opportunity to help debate and set policy.
All Stakeholders are invited to share new information, take part in special project committees, share ideas for marketing programs, initiate new programs, and work to create connections between government agencies involved in transportation and local businesses that have specific stakes in transportation policy.
Through this participation your voice can be heard! Be a Stakeholder who is supported by a network of fellow business and community partners who come together to promote sustainability while keeping in mind livability and quality of life concerns.
Among other avenues for discussion are occasional Community Forums, where business gather to provide input and feedback on community concerns. In addition to attending, encourage your employees to attend the Community Forums to help reinforce your corporate transportation goals.
